Christmas In Denmark

Hi Friends!

Earlier this week I joined up with a new friend and headed to Vejle for a bit of shopping. We planned to hit up a couple of craft shops and gifts for exchanges at a Christmas party. Once the shopping was complete, we continued on down the walking mall and wondered into a lovely Christmas shop.

Many keep decorations fairly clean or sparse but the unified theme seems to be nature. Many Danes make lovely centerpieces using moss, branches, pine cones, flowers and candles. Candles are a big thing here. Its cozy and warm light on the gloomy afternoons and the dark mornings. The centerpieces and candles keep things pretty and cozy. (

I will continue to take pictures of the Christmas decorations through the Holiday season. Christmas has begun here- folks are quite excited. We are excited to enjoy our first European Christmas season!
